I'm just your average T-girl Next Door over a half century old and aware of lots of history I've lived through (or participated in) but feeling much younger. Will there be better times ahead? There will be if I can help it! I'm a civic activist working to change some things like trying to get more Light Rail Transit and walkable streets in Houston. It's MY city, and other civic activists have gotten used to seeing T-girls like me stir things up. A month after this photo was taken, my country changed leadership. Thank God!
