Sharp-shinned Hawk Hunting Small Birds From Maple Tree

This pretty little Sharpie was very patiently hunting small birds from our front Maple tree.

 

I watched her watching the smaller birds for a few minutes, but I lost interest before she did. She was still hunting when I went on about doing my chores.

 

This avid huntress is about the size of a large American Robin.
