Noting the versatility of the Chassis used for the Stormer APC family the head design teams at plant 183 decided to expand their design capabilities to tanks as well as infantry support vehicles and turned the design into a heavy tank with a hull mounted gun. To do this they created a brand new light weight and easy to manufacture turret to take on the anti-tank role with the hull mounted gun being used for knocking out heavy fortfications. This heavy tank was named (Although the same size as the Stormer APC) the Gigant (or giant) due to the large size of it in comparison to other tanks of the era.

It's a heavy tank now with Chasseurs marching alongside it!
