My seasonal contribution…

Separated into edge pieces, then the interior pieces largely by colours.

Built the edge first, and discovered possibly the biggest, and only real, gripe with this puzzle. Compare the box and puzzle images and you will see that they are different sections of the original image. The puzzle has a section on the left that is not visible on the box, and correspondingly loses a section on the right that is visible. The puzzle also loses a strip along the lower edge that is visible on the box.

The interior build began with the blue, white, and red strip along with the green zigzags on the balcony. After that switched to the green and mauve patterned floor at the bottom of the image. Filled in the gap in between and the walls and doors at the top of the image before finishing off with the staircase.

The required a little thought but essentially built the various packages using their colours and fitted them into the empty column in the puzzle.

Not sure what the creature at the bottom of the stairs is, perhaps a polar bear, although other than living near the North Pole not sure what they have to do with Christmas.

Puzzle built within the day, but finished too late to be photographed in natural light.

Pieces are thinner than the likes of a US-made MB or Guild puzzle, but like these fit and hold together well, so the puzzle can be lifted without falling apart.
