First Significant Snow
1-28-2013
Yesterday was quite the day for me. I woke up to above freezing temperatures and went to air Heffala. I didn't realize the front steps were glare ice. I fell the six steps in the front of the house landing on the sidewalk. I took out the railing on the left side. I had a cup of coffee in my hand which ended up on me but Heffala was happy I didn't drop the treats in the other hand. The only reprecussion was a bruised chin and a small one on my arm and a half hour of work putting the railing back into shape.
A winter storm warning was in effect, by noon it was raining and by late afternoon it finally switched to snow. We ended up with 6 to 7 inches. This was the first significant snow of the winter. I woke up this morning to a winter wonderland. All the dirty snow was covered! I will need to get someone in to blow snow so we will not go anywhere today.
