Dawn Light

When we left work this morning there was not much in the way clear skies, just a few breaks in the clouds. The forecast was for clear skies and as we started off, the clouds started to break. We stopped by the riverside and started taking pictures. Fifteen minutes later and starting to loose feeling our fingers, we were done.

 

There was a heavy band of clouds on the horizon and we could see the sun starting to rise up over the clouds. The clouds started to get pink edges and a golden light began to show behind the lowest clouds. Within moments, the sun broke through and everything lit up with a golden light.
