Here is my ageing flower

Where I found her

Cowering behind the young bloom

Embarrassed by her age and imperfections

Until I freed her

And gave her centre Stage

 

She is me.

 

I have realised that you should not rely on other people to find your inner beauty. You have to find it for yourself first. Then if you are lucky, others will see it. It is a work in progress.
