Ground (Post-Snow)

As compared to the picture of my tree taken pre-snow, the trunks seem to be overall much darker and the branches are definitely more brittle. I bet that this has to do with the extreme weathering from wind and snow that the bark has to withstand. Also, the lack of moisture in winter air is probably why the tree is so dark and inflexible.
