Half a century ago fine Italian dining was most visibly checkered tablecloths and Chianti bottles draped in straw. Emilio’s was a fixture on Seymour Street, often frequented by performers and visitors to the nearby notorious Penthouse who ventured across the street for Emilio's soulful take on authenticity.
