I love this new look! I used a Cherry Wood skin from Aki Asahi, and lightly sealed it with matte Mod Podge. In retrospect, I probably should have used a more proper wood sealant, maybe next time. :-) I went back and forth whether to stain it or not, but the Cherry wood shade was beautiful and I hear it darkns beautifully with exposure to the light, so I left the color as it is.
The Sony grip is NOT attached to the skin, it is directly attached to the camera; that way I can change the skin in future without removing the grip (and I think it attaches more securely to the camera body directly).
