Rufous Fantail (Rhipidura rufifrons) in my backyard, Ormond, VIC, Australia
These highly flitty, always-difficult-to-photograph birds migrate in approximately March each year, heading north to warmer climes. So you can find them in a lot of surprising places - but never did I expect one to visit my back yard! (I couldn't get any great shots because of low light and bird flittiness, but she did stick around long enough at least for a few pix.)
