Club Noir: Waiting for him to come back

There was an inicident awhile back. Nothing is firm but here are the rumors.

 

Baligirl knew that she was divine and got any man she went for. She fell for the Bengal lad and for a time they were a twosome. However Maine came back into town. She used to be the girl next door but now all grown up. He fell for her. The way her eyes fair blushed with love for him, curled his toes. That nght he was going to ask her to marry him, and hid a diamond collar in a picnic basket. He went ahead to set up the picnic under the midnight sky. He was going back to fetch Maine when Baligirl confronted him with a gun. If she couldn't have him, no one could. He tried to talk her down.

 

No one saw him after that. Maine went to the picnic spot and waited even when it started raining. She knew he would not stand her up. After a couple hours though, soaked and bedraggled, she gave up. She took the picnic home and discovered the diamond collar when she packed everything in the refrigerator. She stared at the diamonds, wondering what where he was. Worried, she stared out the window.

 

But where is Bengal lad? Did he get shot? Was he killed, wounded? did he run away? Is he hiding? Did he leave with Baligirl? To be continued >>>
