Grimsby Grain Store

From the left, The Lincoln Castle, this is one of a pair of paddle steamers that used to sail from the north and south shores of the Humber Estuary before the bridge was built. Corporation Road lift bridge. Very rarely used today as all of the industry along the banks of this dock has gone and has been replaced by supermarkets. Finally the old grain store which has now been converted into apartments. The building on the far right is all that is left of the once beautiful Palace Theatre, Grimsbys premier entertainment venue before the war. It has now been renovated and has a number of retail outlets within its walls.
