Stranger #67 - Bernie
On a rare, hot Sunday afternoon, I spotted Bernie waiting for a bus in Newcastle.
He looked incredibly smart from top to toe, and I had to find out why.
Turns out that Bernie is a preacher. He preaches in 3 churches on a Sunday and was en route to his next church.
We had such a good chat. Originally from Holland, Bernie is a born again Christian - finding God after (in his words) his 'war' ie. personal struggles.
We also had a great discussion about the recent EU referendum result, and put the whole world right. :)
