Sunny Side Up!

Does this resemble something to you? I bet it does, maybe something like a sunny side up egg! I love eggs and decided to recreate the classic sunny side up egg. I wanted to show an egg in a different ways so I decided to compose it using objects. Although it looks simple, I liked how clear the image came out to be. The subject doesn't have any emotions, but what makes it special is that I tried to make viewers think what my picture was. I used a plate in replacement for the whites and I used the the lemon to represent the yolk. I was debating whether to use a black or white background, but eventually settled with white because I thought the pan blended in with the back. I took this around sunset and used a diffuser on one side so that sunlight and shadows wouldn't be as harsh. The shadow on the bottom was supposed to be the representation of a heated pan, but I don't think it turned out the way I like, but I guess it completes my picture a little bit. I was trying to portray the perfect sunny side up egg and wanted to make the "yolk" stand out. For this shot, I used an f-stop of 4.2 because I wanted the picture to be bright, which means I needed to let in a lot of light. I used ISO 400 because it was around sunset and it wasn't as bright as I wanted it. I wanted my shutter speed at 1/10 to add to the brightness, and shot it using the lens at 29.1mm because I wanted to put to fill up the frame and not cut out any parts.
