SITE VISIT

Overall approach from southwest. Parked by the east side of the farmtrack at SE394988 opposite the cottages with kind permission of the householders. Walked along Low Moor Lane to the NW corner of the trig field then south via western edge to where the trig column now stands. The pillar is neatly relocated from centre of an arable field to the western edge, and is still in good condition. The spider retains a replacement OS centre cap with raised medium sized letters. The flush bracket faces south, compass measurement 176°. Vented through back (north) sight hole. The 247° panoramic view spans from ENE through south to NW.
