Autumns browns slowly replace the green

On the trees that are seen

In the fields where they stand

Looking down on the changing land

Where gold meets green, dances with the brown

As the Autumn light shines down

On the trees ready to shed their cloak

To reveal the wood of the ash, birch and oak

That in the fields now are seen

As Autumn browns replace the green
