Got One!

Striated heron (sometimes called mangrove heron Butorides striata) hunts for fish by perching on a low mangrove branch just above the water. Gripping the branch with its large feet it catches with small fish in the water below. Note a couple drops of water splashed on its chest. This really is fishing without getting wet. Currumbin Creek Beree-Badalla mangrove conservation area at sunrise.
