Red breasted Nuthatch - Sitta Canadensis
Nikon D5300
Heading over to the boyfriend's apartment, I get out of my car to 4 or 5 Nuthatches flying around. Having been absent a lot this summer, I quickly grabbed my camera from the car and began snapping pictures, following them around from tree to tree.
My Dad tried to call me while I was taking photos, and I promptly informed him I was chasing birds and couldn't talk. At which point he said I probably look like a crazy lady to Shaun's neighbours.
Oh well, I got some great photos! LOTS, so prepare for some Nuthatch overload!
