Xhataka – Toa of Fire and Ice
Status: Active
Primary colors: Dark Red, White, Pearl Light Gray, Light Gray
Brain-stalk: Trans-Neon Green
Element(s): Fire (Ta) and Ice (Ko)
Mask: Kanohi Matatu – Great Mask of Telekinesis, grants its user the power to move any target(s) within their range of sight and to project force via thoughts. Xhataka’s Matatu is fitted with a telescopic lens, for precision targeting.
Powers: Heat and Frost Resistance. The ability to create, control, and absorb fire/heat as well as ice/snow. With enough ferocity, Xhataka can release a Fire/Ice Nova Blast.
Primary weapon: Dual Sabers – Simple yet elegant weapons, when equipped for combat, one blade seethes with flames and the other chills with ice. The weapons can be stored on Xhataka’s back for increased mobility.
Key traits: With the exception of Xhataka, the rest of his Toa team was killed when the Makuta betrayed the beings of Mata Nui, believing that they were the rightful rulers of the Matoran Universe. Little is known about this Toa otherwise, and the circumstances surrounding his formation. Possessing the elements of both Fire and Ice, he is feared by Makuta Teridax, and thus he is relentlessly hunted by the Servants of the Makuta and the Dark Brotherhood.
When I create custom Bionicle (Toa), I generally only use parts from 2-4 existing sets. The result is a simplistic design that resembles an official LEGO product.
