This locomotive was build by Hudswell Clarke in 1943 with the number '1737'. It was build for the War Department where it got the number '(7)5080'. In 1945 it was acquired by the Dutch national railways (NS) where it got it's number '8811'. In 1953 it was sold to Laura & Vereeniging where it worked at the Julia mine/colliery under the number 'Julia IV'. In 1962 it was renumbered in 'LV 13'. The mine closed in december 1974 and the locomotive was stored. Making this the very last regular working steam engine in The Netherlands.
It was acquired in 1982 by enthousiasts of the Stoom Stichting Nederland (SSN) which restored the locomotive over the years when it finally came back in service in june 2010.
The picture was taken on the ZLSM Steam gala when the crew was waiting to take the loco back into the shed.
