Not to Be Reproduced: Reproduced

Here's another piece from my A Level Photography coursework. This was inspired by René Magritte's 1937 painting, entitled La reproduction interdite (Not to Be Reproduced).

The process involved in creating this piece was fairly simple. The first step was to take a picture of the model, a fellow student, looking into the mirror. The second step was to take a picture of the model facing the wall and then the final step involved some basic editing work in Photoshop with multiple layers. The original reflection in the mirror was masked with the picture of the model facing the wall and then some final tweaks were made to get it to look just as I wanted it to.

Overall, a very basic technique that turned out to be quite effective.
