Jolene Martinez, KGBT news reporter, welcomes students to the UTRGV Hispanic Engineering, Science, and Technology (HESTEC) Student Leadership Day on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018 at the Health & Physical Education II building in Edinburg, Texas. Secondary level students are introduced to a wide range of career opportunities in the STEM fields through motivational speakers and breakout sessions.
