Over 2,500 high school students from around the Rio Grande Valley visit UTRGV to kick of HESTEC week with the STEM expo at the Edinburg Fieldhouse on Monday, October 1st, 2018. Alongside the STEM expo, students are able to engage in the augmented reality booth. They are able to interact with different AR simulations. Augmented reality differs from virtual reality in that AR is not limited to a head-mounted display which can be beneficial in more ways because of its flexibility.
