Mason Lake - 1
This beautiful scene on Mason Lake was hidden from the road by some thick woods and a few natural campsites. The hour before dusk is my favorite time of day, and anytime I am in the Adirondacks during this time of day I am either shooting or dreaming about shooting while driving home, peering at all the images I could be getting if I wasn't running late getting home. I smelled this one out; I knew something good had to be behind those woods. We parked roadside and hiked about 30 feet in to this extraordinary scene.
