After looking at this photo, Google AI assumed that the beetle in the photo is "a Trichodes sp., a species of the family Cleridae, known for its bright colors and hairy bodies" and added "the specific species is difficult to determine from a photo alone, as the differences between about 30 European species are minimal." However, after a little more in-depth analysis of my assumption, we came to the conclusion that this beetle is certainly Trichodes quadriguttatus - a beetle species of checkered beetles belonging to the family Cleridae, subfamily Clerinae. In Trichodes quadriguttatus the red color is reduced to four separate, rounded spots.
