Beautiful city center festooned for the Christmas market; the 100-meter-long main facade of the New Town Hall facing the square, one of the most recognizable landmarks in the city, is richly decorated, showing the Guelph Duke Henry the Lion and almost the entire line of the Wittelsbach dynasty in Bavaria, and is the largest princely cycle in a German town hall

 

Neues Rathaus, Marienplatz: Trotz seiner unbayerisch-neugotischen Fassade, wurde der Koloss zu einem der Wahrzeichen Münchens – vor allem wegen des Glockenspiels – der Spielerker ist der Blickfang am majestätischen, 85 Meter hohen Turm, auf zwei Etagen stellen die bemalten Figuren aus Kupferblech Szenen aus der Stadtgeschichte dar, das beliebte Glocken- und Figurenspiel dauert etwa zwölf Minuten

Munich, Germany – 2019NOV27-DEC01 – My 1st 5-Day Trip:

 

My very first 5-day trip, and one of my all-time best-ever trips!

 

I was so excited when I found I had been awarded this 5-day that I couldn't sleep for 2 nights, but then tripped and fell and broke my arm, a radial head fracture; however, I focused on my healing, and the orthopedic hospital released me to full duty as of 26NOV.

 

Now 4 weeks to the day had passed from my arm-breaking fall to working the Charlotte NC to Munich Germany transatlantic flight...
