Alaska Backyard Sunrise
I was working breakfast when I took a look out and saw this scene unfolding. So, I grabbed my iPhone and stepped out to take a shot of those clouds picking up the reds of the sun beginning to peak over the Chugach mountains in the distance. Although the mountains in the scene are the Talkeetna's, the sun rises over the Chugach range. The snow remnant at the end of the yard was a snow drift created by the strong winter winds that blow on occasion.
