On my second drive to Alaska from Maryland and through Canada my friend Margaret, who lives near Saskatoon in Saskatchewan, was driving me around the area to see what birds were there. We came across a small herd of Mule Deer and this one in particular alerted to our presence. They didn't run off immediately but watched us for several minutes before slipping away. That same day I saw Mule Deer bounding off, and I mean bounding on all fours. I had never seen that before and it was a laugh out loud moment for me!
