城山の戦い

The battle of Shiroyama (1877) was the battle that ended the Satsuma Rebellion.

The Imperial army won against the Samurai of the Satsuma domain, who had rebelled against the Meiji government.

 

For these figs I returned to the vintage style, and I really liked how they turned out.
