The Swan Hotel, Bibury
Bibury is one of the most photographed locations in England and said to be perhaps the most beautiful village of all. Certainly it's always full of tourists! The hotel here is a fine old building and remarkably unchanged over the centuries. Perhaps less well known is that it was once also a petrol station, in the pre-war era it was quite common for hotels to have their own mini filling station and this place was no exception. Below you can see it as it was once back in the 1930s.
