Objective 3: Composition Techniques – Use the guide on the website

 

2. Perspective and depth- length of hallway creates good depth to photo

5. Leading Lines- length of hallway leads off then splits off to create a unique leading lines

6. Pattern – pattern of the floor makes the picture look less plain and more vibrant

11. Space and/or Space to Move- ceiling used as extra space to create a more diverse picture

12. Balance- picture balanced well with lights and darks, no bright spots randomly in the picture

 

 

Objective 4: Lighting (side, back, soft, hard, fill)

Types of lighting and how they contribute to the image: fill, lighting fills the picture creating equal lighting in the photo

 

Objective 5: Post Production (resize, contrast, sharpening, and others you have done)

Corrections/adjustments made: photo resized and rotated, photo sharpened and picture turned black and white

 

Objective 6: Critique

Analyse your photograph for strengths and areas for improvement (consider composition, lighting, exposure, overall feel, etc.)

 

Strength: picture has lots of depth and pattern creating a very interesting shot

 

Area for growth: different angle and/or cropping the legs to avoid the distraction

 

 

Objective 7: Photographic Styles (ex. portrait, landscape, etc.) – Explain why the settings and composition are appropriate for the style of photography. (How did you create the shot?)
