The message reads, "Dear Cousin, Your card to hand this morning. The match is on Whit Tuesday & we should like you to get to know how many there is coming so that we can arrange for you all having tea. It will be a nice half day off for the girls, also the wifes (sic). Please let us know as soon as possible. Yours, S. Wilson - more & merrier".
