While the rest of the gang went in search of rock formations and seascapes, I ventured in search of something with a straight line... all this nature stuff was giving me withdrawal symptoms from my comfort zone.
Just beyond the pier (in the background) on a private road is this magnificent building. I was half expecting Kevin McCloud to stick his head out of one of the doorways at any time as this is surely screaming out for a Grand Designs project. It probably has been bought already judging by the temporary roof to limit internal decay.
There was a car parked, or more likely dumped and abandoned in the left side arch. It would have made my day had it been an old silver Aston Martin DB5 left there undiscovered, but alas it was only a poxy blue Astra so I’ve cloned it out.
