Temple Figure
After visiting the shipyards, we visited the famous Kailasgiri Hill. According to Hindu legend, this is where the god Shiva and his goddess Parvati spent their honeymoon.
I took some detail shots of the sculpture work decorating the little ornate temple on Kailasgiri Hill. Here is a cow formed on the corner of the temple. I quite like how this one was carved. From either side of the corner, the cow looks as though it's sitting in perfect profile, only when you look at it directly from the corner do you realise that it's really a cow with one head and two bodies. :)
