God's Children on Both Sides of the Wall
There was a section of the Separation Wall, that we passed daily on our travels between Jerusalem and Bethlehem. Today, I decided to get photos of a few more pieces of graffiti in the area.
This piece of graffiti features a quote from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
"Here are God's children on both sides of the wall, and no man made barrier can destroy this fact." King shouted, "With this faith we will begin to tear out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope."
There are a number of other messages here including:
"Being scared from others will make you build walls"
"Make art not walls."
"East Berlin"
"Give us back our freedom"
"Love trumps hate"
