Cape Town, Cape Point

The Cape Point is a promontory at the southeast corner of the Cape Peninsula in the Republic of South Africa. This forma a mountainous and scenic landform that runs north-south for about 30 kilometres.

 

The fairest cape of all without a doubt. Cape Town is the second most populous urban area in South Africa after Johannesburg. It is also the provincial capital and major city of the Western Cape Province. Cape Town is the seat of the national parliament and is also the legislative capital of the Republic of South Africa. The city is famous for its natural beauty and floristic region as well as Table Mountain and the Cape Point. Cape Town was name the World Design Capital for 2014 and was named as the best place in the world to visit in the same year by The New York Times and The Telegraph. The first European settlement of the Cape started in 1652 when Jan van Riebeek arrived to establish a shipping outpost for the Dutch East India Company.
