Little Chef - Honiton
The Little Chef at Honiton on the A30 in 2015.
Opened between 1972 and 1976, Honiton Little Chef was built as a standalone site just north of Honiton and just before the A30 becomes a dual carriageway. It is housed inside of a house like building, suggesting that it used to be a house before Forte converted it into a Little Chef.
Inside Honiton is a mismatch of styles according to the Little Chef wikia with all sorts of features such as decor and furniture dating back to the 70s and 80s. However, I didn't go inside so I didn't get an interior shot but if you go onto Alan Simpson's Flickr account then you can see a picture of Honiton's interior.
Today, Honiton still soldiers on and it even still has the old school 70s logo on the front of the building. A great site in a lovely location!
