Finally Flattened
Construction, Week 64
The loading dock was the last structure to go from the old store, and the first region of land to be further demolished in prepping the new parking lot adjoining. As a result, its former home has now been flattened down to level with the already-open portion of the new lot and its safety fence. Seeing all this dirt is oddly reminiscent of the early stages of construction! It's also just plain odd to be able to see across the new storefront with nothing in the way, frankly!! Compare to this view from last week...
