I think this week finally got me out of my slump. I think I have two solid photos and this is the stronger one. I took this around the golden hour at a street a couple blocks from mine. I knew the light would be cool shining through the trees and create a cool effect and I think it actually really worked out. From there I just set up a camera and timer after setting the focus on my brother. In editing I just played with the colors and sunlight to make myself pop and also messed with the saturation as well. Lastly, I worked with Mr. Mulloy to copy and paste the layers over and over again inside the frame. Together, I think there are seven or eight copies of the original photo pasted in.

 

This photo perfectly describes my concentration. I am shooting outside the studio in a natural landscape and using color, surreal editing techniques and a prop. It will perfectly fit my other photos. One thing I have noticed is that I have used frames a lot this semester, so this will probably be my last time using one.
