MLRS External Evaluation IN KOREA
The 2d Infantry Division’s 23rd Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive Battalion conducted a combined Decontamination External Evaluation with U.S. manuever units from August 1 to 9, 2015. 23rd CBRNE Bn. units tested their capabilities to decontaminate various battalions across Area 1. Equipment being decontaminated are helicopters, armored vehicles, field artillery guns, and Air Defense Artillery trucks. The training was centrally located at Rodriguez Live Fire Range wash rack. Conducting night decontamination operations tests our abilities as a battalion to service multiple types of equipment to help them make ready to “Fight Tonight.”
