County Connection

What goes up must come down, as the saying goes.

Bysiau Cwm Taf holds the Pembrokeshire County Council contract for Service 351 (Tenby-Saundersfoot-Amroth-Pendine). This enters Carmarthenshire for its last few miles and twice a day connects at Pendine with the company's Carmarthenshire County Council-contracted Service 222 to and from Carmarthen. Until June 2016, the contract was held by Silcox, who allocated anything and everything, though former MoD Plaxton Derwent-bodied Leyland Tigers were a popular choice.

A new 8.9m Alexander Dennis E20D, YY74 RYM, was purchased by Bysiau Cwm Taf for the service - which doubles up as a school contract at the Tenby end - at the start of 2025, and she was descending Pendine Hill and heading for the village, where the connection would be made with Service 222, in this November 2025 shot.
