Traws Substitute
Adventure Travel operates TrawsCymru Service T1c (Aberystwyth-Aberaeron-Llandysul-Carmarthen-Cross Hands-Port Talbot-Cardiff) under contract to Ceredigion CC. This provides one return journey, though the number of days of operation has been reduced whilst society re-opens.
The service is unique within the TrawsCymru family in having a PSVAR-specification coach allocated rather than a PSVAR-compliant service bus. This sleeps out overnight in Aberystwyth and Mid Wales Travel is contracted to provide the drivers.
When the allocated Mercedes Tourismo is unavailable, one of the company's three Plaxton Elite Interdeck-bodied Volvo B11RTs is allocated. This was indeed the case when I captured magenta-liveried PH11 leaving the Bowens Arms stop in the Lonlas area of Swansea when heading north in mid June 2021.
