something different... lethal!!

Aristolochia clematitis; Birthwort.

I eventually identified this plant after some years... its lethal.

"In the late 1950s a chronic kidney condition was described from certain Balkan farming villages near the Danube. The condition was not inherited and villagers only began to show symptoms some 15 years after becoming resident, suggesting an environmental cause. Recently, strong evidence has shown that cumulative dietary poisoning by aristolochic acid, a powerful carcinogen and kidney toxin, is important in the development of the condition and the associated cancer. Aristolochic acid is likely to come from birthwort, a local field weed, contaminating cereal grains used to make bread. herbaria.plants.ox.ac.uk/bol/plants400/profiles/AB/Aristo...

Whilst, from my experience, I would exercise caution and leave it to the herbal specialists... the Poison Gardens, I'm stunned to find that people would wish to plant this sickly smelling and aggressive spreader in their gardens...
