The final big lumens of 2015.

or is this lux? After sunset these spent car parts (consequence of a frayed cambelt... possibly) in an oil soaked cardboard box gather all available old year light.

Wikipedia tells us... "Illuminance is a measure of how much luminous flux is spread over a given area. One can think of luminous flux (measured in lumens) as a measure of the total "amount" of visible light present, and the illuminance as a measure of the intensity of illumination on a surface. A given amount of light will illuminate a surface more dimly if it is spread over a larger area, so illuminance (lux) is inversely proportional to area when the luminous flux (lumens) is held constant. One lux is equal to one lumen per square metre: 1 lx = 1 lm/m2 = 1 cd·sr/m2"

Latenote: maybe this image poses the question if black and decker parties might still have a future. With the contents of the box costing £1,000.00 to renew and replace DIY is never very far away. Will be looking closely at the gathering evidence for this particular car manufacturer in the next week. One thing just led to another and without immediate feedback on the dashboard.

31.12.2015. Thursday. Yes New Year's Eve, Mild day. Planted two yarrow roots in afternoon. Visit to J&P's Facebook party before the crowds then a quiet New Year's eve in with the kids and A, A and A with Jools in the background providing timing... yes the 3 A's.
