I Ran CB&Q 5632 -- 4 Photos
On September 12 and 13, 1964, a Saturday and a Sunday, the CB&Q ran fantrips out of Chicago to the Sandwich (DeKalb County) Fair and return. I was working second trick at Montgomery Tower, filling in for the the vacationing regular towerman. And yes I took pictures of 5632 returning to Chicago past the tower each evening.
For all these four photos I'm standing in front of Montgomery Tower (trackside). I had cleared the train through the plant and walked down stairs.
