Repeat Pattern Work

Here are my two different techniques for creating a repeat pattern, using drawings from my previous line study. I wanted to start understanding how I could develop my drawings into potential printed surface pattern designs, employing commonly used techniques to create successful and attractive repeat patterns.

I feel that the patterns I produced are very promising, and have potential to become refined outcomes with the application of mark making, colour and texture.
