An interesting and very effective recreation of National Bus Company 'dual-purpose' livery on a modern bus - this Volvo B8RLE with MCV Evora body masquerading as an NBC-era West Yorkshire Road Car bus is in the fleet of Connexions of Tockwith. It was photographed at the on-street stand outside Otley Bus Station, ready to return to Harrogate on the 1500 service X52 journey. Although only a few months old the bus is already with its second owner - it was new to Weavaway of Newbury, who applied the livery and had it registered as P600 LPF to rekindle memories of LPF 600P, a dual-purpose Leyland National in the Alder Valley fleet which carried this livery when new in 1976.
