10.03.23. With main roads cleared of snow Stagecoach were able to maintain interurban services while many city services were still subject to disruption. The photograph shows Chesterfield depot's Platinum Jubilee bus, an Enviro 400MMC that had previously carried 'Gold' branding for service X17 - still its usual allocation. On this occasion it is operating service 43 from Sheffield to Chesterfield via Dronfield, with no indication that it will not be following its usual rather convoluted route through Dronfield. although it seems likely that some diversions may be necessary.
