Self Portrait in Bali
I’ve been in the beautiful Indonesian city of Ubud for little under a week now. I’m sharing a temporary home with beautiful creative souls from all over the globe. We spend our days melting in sun, exploring, creating, and cooling off by the pool side. At night we ride our scooters to the town, colliding with fireflies and letting our hair catch in the dark breeze, feeling so alive and free.
I took a simple self-portrait in the burning rice paddock next to our Villa yesterday. I had so few images to work with, as I could feel my skin burning and melting in heat. It’s not the image I intended on shooting, but I had to make do with what I photographed in the few moments I could bare. (As I’ve been dying to share something with you all!)
Life in Ubud is perfect, and everything is incredible.
